Speech Server Attendant is more than just an auto-attendant. It's also
a personal dialer, a mobility application and a toll management solution. Callers simply say
the name of the person they’d like to speak with, and the application directs the call. Users
can log into the Speech Server Attendant using speaker verification for secure access to
their phone list. Users can call their contacts without having to look up the phone numbers.
Mobile users can log in and re-direct calls to the phone number of choice.
Auto-Attendant
The Speech Server Attendant incorporates advanced
speech recognition technology, allowing callers to
connect to individuals or departments by simply
speaking their name. It also supports multiple numbers
for a single directory name – registered users can access
an individual’s office extension (usually the default
number, mobile, fax, pager, or home number.
Personal Dialer
The Speech Server Attendant dials numbers based on
spoken commands. It provides a personal dialing list
each user can maintain using a web browser or can
integrate to your Outlook contacts. Users can record
names in their list using their own voice for confirmation
when calling a contact. Users with appropriate system
privileges can also access the dialer from an external
number – a mobile phone or hotel, for instance.
